About the SPLA
The Salish Park Leaseholders’ Association (SPLA) is a community group registered under the BC Societies act.
Its purpose is to represent the interests of the Salish Park Leaseholders, and to develop a community spirit.
There is an elected executive that meets occasionally throughout the year and responds to leaseholder questions and concerns.
The SPLA executive communicates and liaises with the Musqueam Band Administration. The relations with the Musqueam Band have been cordial and business-like.
Acting on behalf of the residents, the SPLA executive, has been instrumental over the years in bringing any issues that have arisen between the residents and the band to a mutually agreeable conclusion.
We enjoy all the services of the City of Vancouver. Residents have often been invited to join Band members for lunch and entertainment on Aboriginal Day held in June. We look forward to many years of continued good relations with the Musqueam Band.
